That one scene in RDR didnt bother me, but thats mostly because your character walks into the room while the other two are going at it. Youre not initiating anything, or creating any sort of romance. Its just sort of part of the cutscene, and theyre already going at it when you walk in. Youre not there for all of that awkward, wooden kissing and gazing at each other.

But whenever theres any sort of romantic buildup or two characters are beginning to engage each other affectionately, its never animated in anything resembling a natural interaction. Just looks robotic and lacking any passion.
