Though the most famous fan who is an active star, is I think Sergio Aguero. I think some baseball shows like Kyojin no Hoshi have influenced the domestic scene in Japan, but zero internationally. I've seen anime shows influence professional wrestling, but while it is about athletic performances, it's not regulated.
