Also you totally don't need to scrap anything to get to the space phase. Just need to not overbuild. Maybe I got lucky but I'm pretty sure you should get the clip requirements before you hit the point where you overbuild. I had about 0.3 octillion(?) inches of wire left after getting the 5, and I think I overshot slightly with 200 factories. ---
