I'm going to go back a bit-- forgive me if I go back too far but I have a friend who had trouble with 180s too despite having the gear for it and it turned out there were a few "newbie" things he was doing so I'll sweep through those first. 1. For boss fights, you put the battle speed down to 1 in the pause menu, right? The ATB input delay murders your action efficiency at even 2 speed. 2. Mandatory things to bring to boss fights: Protectga and Shellga (or bard songs that do the same), Hastega from a soul break. All mandatory things for boss fights. Ideally you also use Full Break and Magic/Power Breakdown, the equivalent Dances, or soul breaks that do those things. 3. Put the start soul break record materia on one of your hastega users, as you need that up ASAP If you're doing both of those and still being murdered on turn 3 with the soul break compositions they're giving you with those in mind, then I'm not sure, but yeah particularly that first one is a newbie trap. --- No problem!
