My assumption was that there was a test before every new shoot. Also, is there a reason she couldn't request a fresh STD test? That seems less homophobic than a pure refusal and it would have been better for him and her both. That might not be PC enough either -- just spitballing -- but that could have been better for him and her both this time. Is there a parallel we can draw between pornography partners fearing STDs and athletes fearing diseases? They're both contact-entertainment with health concerns. Both industries try to avoid outbreaks spreading through their work, and I'm not sure where they've each drawn their lines when the individuals' well-being feels legitimately at risk. Like, if an athlete says "I'm not wrestling that guy because his country has a measles outbreak," I don't know how history has handled that situation. Maybe there's some parallel to learn from...?
