its pretty good provided youre a fan of the game.
if not, youre gonna be really confused, and you wont like it.
they dont spoonfeed you every detail in the movie.
by merely naming the characters, fans already know who they are, their backstory and motives.
same with locations and objects.
if this was meant for the general, joe movie goer audience, every character would have a narration on them or someone expositions about them.

My wife really enjoyed it when we saw it together and she knew nothing of the games prior.

But she likes fantasy stuff like that. I can definitely see others being confused as fuck by the story but still loving the action sequences (like when Lothar and his gryphon fuck shit up at the end)
