Topic	Why should I care more for american factory workers than chinese factoryworkers?

I have a set of American made wrenches that my grandfather bought when he started working in construction in the 60's that still work great to this day, while the Chinese adjustable wrench I bought less then a year ago broke when I was trying to disconnect my sink from the wall. I am willing to spend extra if I know I won't have to make the purchase again in the near future. --- I am a senior software engineer.
