Keep in mind, the law did not use tax payer money to pay for birth control. It just made insurance policies provided by work places pay for birth control.

The same way those policies pay for Viagra.

Do I have to keep saying this? Most policies do not cover ED drugs. The ones they do will cover about four pills per month of only one specific brand (since no generic is available) if a doctor deems it medically necessary, and you still pay a copay.

And you can get tablet birth control for like $10 a month. Looking at Wal-mart's web site, for example, you can get nine different generics at $9 for 28 days, and another three at $9 for 30 days or $24 dollars for 90 days. If you can already afford insurance, that's really not a big deal. The issue is more for people who need more expensive birth control, or who would decide to skip it and then have sex anyway just to save a few bucks, leading to a drain on the public when they have to go on welfare programs to support their children.
