Topic	I'm playing Horizon Zero Dawn!
adjl 09/30/23 11:28:33 AM #27:	Yeah, that's what works: You can absolutely have a sci-fi setting with robots and lasers if you have a main character who's like Samus (for example, though as an aside Metroid would actually be a pretty awesome setting for a soulslike), since then you do have a character where it feels sensible to move quickly and precisely. Giant robots, though, are inherently clunky and have significantly more momentum than human-sized ones. Games like AC still don't exactly handle that realistically, but they at least try. --- This is my signature.
