What could possibly go wrong with the richest man on the planet having control of peoples brains? Well, that would require Neuralink to have functionality allowing it to do something which it would not be tested for in trials, which is orders of magnitude more complicated. It's an interface designed to allow the brain to control a computer; allowing the reverse is something we are not even close to doing. I could see a dystopia where, some day in the near future, an interface like this could be used to provide hormonal encouragement for certain behaviors in a way that benefitted a party's interests, but just casually controlling someone's body, speech, or thoughts is not even remotely close to possible right now. --- "That is why war is so tragic.
