What I'm getting from this topic is that, if there was even a remotely reliable way to get ALL sports for a decent streaming price, cable would basically die. It's not even all sports, it's mostly just local sports (and blackout restrictions associated with them) that's the problem. If my family could watch Cardinals games on MLB TV and Blues games on ESPN+ (which includes NHL Power Play) like it lets us watch the other teams in those leagues, that would be enough to get my family to switch off of cable in favor of some sort of streaming option. But due to the blackout restrictions, having cable and watching the games on Bally Sports Midwest is literally the only way for us to watch these games, so we're forced to keep cable.
