| Topic | Had an amusing conversation with an elderly lady today |
| Kradek 08/02/23 12:10:34 AM #1: | Long story short, started talking to this old lady at work and eventually she tells me she's 91 and her husband across from her is 93. I mention that my grandparents died recently at 89/91, and congratulated both of them for making it so long. She told me, "Oh I'm ready to go. The world has become such a wicked place; it's not how it used to be when we were growing up" And all I could think about is how when she was growing up there was legalized segregation and very blatant blind eyes to racial killings, so I wonder exactly what she was missing...
