Rondo has a few minor scenes thrown in here and there (mostly short conversations between
Nana and the giraffe to enhance
Nana's side of the story a bit) and one notable scene tacked on in the last few minutes after the normal anime ending that acted as a cliffhanger to build up hype for the sequel. Plus it shifted things around a bit compared to the TV series, including switching the order of two revues and moving Hikari's backstory reveal to earlier in the story. None of this stuff is totally necessary to enjoy the sequel movie though. If you've already seen the TV anime and you just want a quick refresher before the sequel movie without having to re-watch the entire TV anime, that's what you would use Rondo for.
