All these people coming in here who use ad-block and then using this as a platform to shit on the site while going "not my job" like, dude, it's a few clicks for us and it makes their job a million times easier I'd imagine. GameFAQs is not self-owned, the admins of this site especially the one who wrote this response have to answer to someone. You can tell this situation upsets them, you can tell they want to fix it, yet you just have to come in here and be shitty. "Not my job", this is one of the only freaking websites on the web that's not cannibalized and you don't do anything to help preserve that.

For the record, I wasn't even talking about this site specifically. The viruses I've gotten in the past were from other sites.

The point stands that because some sites aren't willing to take basic steps to protect their users, I need to do so myself. And before you say "well this place is trustworthy; why don't you whitelist this site?", the exact same thing was once said about each of the sites I picked up viruses from. Clearly that wasn't the case.
