People who have a truly diverse taste in many different genres are usually able to better articulate what they do and don't like, and wouldn't boil it down to "anything but" at the risk of misrepresenting their actual preferences. I mean I'm ABLE to articulate a bit better but I like a lot of stuff and it's cool just letting people play what they like-- you find a lot of cool music that way.
