That's how he lost his role as the Aflac duck, since Aflac did a ton of business in Japan. Not to mention his telling of the Aristocrats to cover for a 9/11 joke he told like a month or two after it happened. Dude spoke whatever came to his mind to make people laugh, and sometimes that meant saying fucked up shit to catch people off-guard. I don't meant to say that it's a positive course of action, or that being a comedian gives him a pass for saying fucked up shit - it's not, and it doesn't.
