The Joker is literally just some freak in clown makeup who does goofy, grisly crimes with a jester motif, occasionally pairing it with a playing card aesthetic. Race has nothing to do the Joker as a character, anybody can play him if they have the creepy funhouse performance down.

I mean shit, Jared Leto was a caucasian Joker and he was dogshit. Race has nothing to do with this character.

Edit: also, unless I'm misreading it (which I might be, I've been pretty off lately), Duckbear's usual clickbait bullshit outright says that this Creegan character was brainwashed by the actual Joker. So "the Joker" himself is presumably still a white guy, short of them portraying the character sparingly with no concrete details about him. Tim Drake got brainwashed by the Joker in a similar way. There's been plenty of hypnotized Joker lackeys. So we're either talking about something that happens a bunch to different characters, or we're talking about a non-issue where a character renouned for an excessive use of make-up or unintended chemical bleaching of his skin is being portrayed by a black guy.

Like these topics have always been trashy, but I almost feel like Duckbear's news gimmick has been getting a lot more troll-y lately.
