When you say not punishing surrender, is there something I'm missing? Don't you just not get a match reward and a loss? I don't really think that's a very harsh penalty compared to just losing, since end of match rewards are whatever anyway besides duel pass. I guess the ideal way would be to give you partial credit or something based on how long you're in a match but I can't think of a single pvp game ever that has adopted that path.

What they really need is some sort of more casual mode where you can still level your duel pass. It's why I hope those rumors about the different cups are true, I think those would fit a lot of us here's tastes much better.
