I'm finally getting around to watching "Elementary." I'm liking it more than BBC's "Sherlock," because the former from CBS actually seems like it uses its brain instead of its ego and tries to produce means for you to follow the clues and figure out some of it yourself. You know, like a mystery is supposed to do.

Also my biggest complaint with Sherlock. However, Elementary has no Benedict Cumberbatch so....

Odd, I'm only JUST NOW watching Sherlock for the first time, and while I like it so far, it indeed doesn't really allow you to participate in the mystery. It seems to be more focused on the acting and character drama, which is honestly a bit ho-hum. Really, the best mystery show, as in one that makes you speculate yourself and look for clues that I've seen the last few years has been Westworld.
