Considering Jeb and CNN are similar in that they're pretty establishment and milquetoast, Donald coming in as belligerent and "anti-establishment" makes him precisely the hardest type of person for Jeb and CNN to deal with. When Donald first goes after them, they go out of their comfort zone by directly reacting to him...but fighting dirty is Donald's home turf, so they get outmatched there too because Donald just isn't interested in their realm of respect or rationale. Their names also both have a long political history, which is very easy for a person without political history to pick on. Look how easily he cited the Iraq War against them both, even though he was recorded as being okay with it too once upon a time. Donald got excused in a big way compared to them. Was Jeb even a part of the Iraq War conversation besides being Dubya's brother and possibly helping him get elected in 2000? CNN wasn't the only one pushing for the Iraq War, but again they're establishment and milquetoast so they're a better target than other news stations. (these are reasons I wish Bernie would have faced Donald instead of Hillary, but I accept there are differences of opinion here) Again, half-baked idea, just thinking aloud to see if there are deeper thoughts here. --- GameFlux: Unofficial GameFAQs board browser ...
