I feel like this should have been divided into two songs: The one that plays during the intro scene and then the vastly superior part at the Press Start screen. The intro scene and music might just be the most defining parts of Mega Man... or maybe I just think that because Retro City Rampage told me it was

That game told me that parodying Mega Man 2's intro was horribly overdone (and then proceeded to do it anyway, because admitting you're creatively bankrupt justifies it?) and I never questioned it. And for all my talk of not really noticing music, this is one of the few tracks that I instantly recognized, so it must be pretty great.
