My vision is: eat what you want but do a lot of exercise to compensate. Has worked for me so far. Will not work as well as I age, but I don't mind a little belly as long as I have muscles.

You don't get anything for free. You don't have to listen to health nuts but the truth of the matter is we're not made to eat sugar. It's too much energy in one package. I mean I still eat desserts but I know I have to exercise more to compensate... IF I want a decent shape.

"Normal" people do NOT exercise more calories than they eat. That's why the norm is having a belly past 25. If you care about not having a belly then you have to do the tuna salad shit. If you care about not having a really round belly then just do something in between. Don't eat junk food every meal without moderation and do some exercise, you will at least maintain something average. It's all give efforts and take the reward, as far as your will will take you.

Honestly I'm not too big a sugar guy, more of a carb guy. Cheesy noodles can be like meth to me. I'll pair it with a diet soda but yeah that is fucking heaven.

Then I wake up from heaven and remember how fat I am and feel like shit.

Carbs transform into the same thing as sugar. We're not meant to eat so much at once. Our body likes it because it used to be rare once and it meant our survival, now we indulge in it just because it feels good.

Which sucks, admittedly.

I know carbs are bad. I'm just saying I'm a little lucky that carbs rather than cake is my vice.
