All human languages are derivatives of the Engineer language, which they supposedly passed along to humans when they were mentoring them 2000 years ago. As for the Engineer's reaction, he was just awoken by the creatures he was on a mission to kill. The one in front of him wants to be granted immortality, while the other one punches a helpless woman in the chest for talking. Of course he's not going to take that well. Basically, the Engineers had already long since decided that humanity needed to be purged, so there wasn't any interest in having a discussion or negotiating. My issue isn't him speaking the language my issue is that he should at least be somewhat impressed they made a robot that is speaking his language he can still be mad, upset, etc but at least be a little taken aback and inquisitive he literally doesn't even say a word I liked the original cut better where he does speak briefly and already deciding to purge humanity isn't an excuse a soldier amidst combat in vietnam will shout things to the enemy while he is gutting them they just got to carried away trying to make a scary monster not realizing the whole point of the engineer was to not be such a thing they aren't supposed to be xenomorph 2.0 like you just wake up from cryo sleep, you should at least be like, "wtf is going on" --- sigless user is me or am I? <cite>darkphoenix181 posted [p:878014315] in "A ne...
