Fair warning; although I haven't seen the anime myself, I keep reading comments that it's a prime example of "anime that doesn't respect the source manga and just does whatever it wants" and that it has horrible pacing and barely gives time to explain character backstories and motivations. Also, apparently it introduced an anime-specific mascot-type character. (which is never a good sign). I'd rather not have known, but the mascot thing I may have figured out, with how it's ignored a lot of the time and feels a bit out of place. The material adhesion part won't really bother me, unless it's glaringly obvious, since I don't know the source material. I hate when they throw in filler characters.
