| davidponte 01/20/17 6:20:20 PM #98: | 38. Beat a game you'd dropped or had a long hold on Wario Land 3 I've had a very long hold on this game. It was probably my favourite non-Pokemon game on the GBC growing up, and I put countless hours into but at the age of seven or eight it was always too tough for me and I probably restarted and played the same dozen or so level twenty times. I was excited when it came out on the 3DS eshop and picked it up sometime in the summer, quickly getting to a point I never got to as a kid, but as I kept playing I realized that maybe I didn't like the game as much as I thought I did. A lot of the enemies and puzzles were annoying, and the game doesn't do the greatest job of letting you know what is actually necessary to do, so I dropped it again. I picked it up this week in an effort to finally beat it, and after clearing a bunch of levels and not knowing whether I was actually making any progress, I consulted a guide and figured out that I already had everything necessary to beat the game, so I did that. I don't think I'll ever go back to clear 100% of the levels, but I am glad that I finally managed to beat the game after so many years. 3/50 --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
