To be fair, PM2 is the best PM.
PM1 is actually better just in terms of mechanics. Notably, last I checked, the PM1 message board was more active than PM2's.
I can understand why some people prefer PM2; it's flahier, but yeah, if I were to start another replay it would be PM1, no question.
mechanics aren't what you play Paper Mario for!
I mean yeah the mechanics are a good part, but TTYD has Glitz Pit and Luigi's adventure to save Princess Eclair of Waffle Kingdom!
