I really wanted to listen to those, Kanz, but the audio on those videos were just so s*** that I couldn't sit through it.

Anyway, I'll take more advice. I'll probably start doing stuff with Skrull later tonight and see what I can make happen.

Understandable. You've listened to David Sirlin's vids on fighting game fundamentals, right? If not, they have much better audio and convey the same thing, so they're worth a shot. Besides that, I recommend checking the Shoryuken forums for Skrull just in case, to see if they have any interesting tech for you. Things you should do:

-Practice Kara-Canceling your Heavy attack into grab. This gives you a super long range grab that is really useful for tripping people up, so be sure to give it a look. Lots of fun stuff can be done with this.
-Get the timing for Orbital Grudge into Inferno down pat, and learn how to Orbital Grudge off the right moves.
-Learn how to charge and use the flaming cartwheel punch properly. It's really finicky and even experts miss it sometimes, so it's good to nail it down.
-Practice the basics and test out the ranges of all your moves. And I mean it, *all of them*. Then try chaining them on the move, from different places and using different combos.
-Practice wave and Plink dashing. You gotta move fast across the screen to capitalize on stuff. I wouldn't step into real matches without the ability to reliably dash, if you really want to get good.

I think that's all the basics off the top of my head. There's more stuff, probably, but I don't play Skrull so that's all I can think of.
