Too bad there's no spot where you can reliably find wild Geodude without also having to deal with Zubats, because those Geodudes give off a lot of EXP and Genesis just crushes them. Also, Rattatas are annoying. One of the trainers near the end of Route 25 led off with one, took out almost half of LavaLord's HP with Hyper Fang on the turn it took to switch over to him, then used Quick Attack and took out half of the remaining HP. If Low Kick had missed, I would've had to switch to another Pokémon or risk losing LavaLord. Luckily, it didn't, and it OHKOed the rat. Masterplum then took out an Ekans, and I claimed the TM for Seismic Toss. Could be useful, but LavaLord will eventually learn it naturally so it would be a waste to use it on him. Maybe use it on Poka? Well, I've got to go eat dinner now, so I'll leave that thought with you.
