Seems like he has a tendency to say things differently than what appears on screen:

But I suppose that's the voice director to blame for not correcting him.
Anyways I half-expected Phoenix Wright to be a be gimmicky character, but he just looks fun to play as, and it's awesome seeing Maya there, though it's a bit of a shame that she doesn't talk.
