If the soundtrack is good enough to qualify for Best OST, *all* the tracks can make an argument for being in any round (or almost any round) and their placement is irrelevant.

This is absolutely false, and if you took 2 seconds to reason it out, you would realize it. Reverse the Chrono Cross song order. Does it have any chance in hell at winning the contest anymore? No, it doesn't. Order matters a lot in this contest, and while I can understand the reasoning behind people wanting their pet OSTs to make a spalsh, I don't like stacking. It just creates a worse contest overall.

Stick Time of the Dreamwatch on Slot 6, Magical Dreamers on the alt, Life on the first slot, etc. etc. and you still get a lineup that oculd potentially take the tournament. I could reorganize the list three or four different ways before getting repeats, too. If your soundtrack is going to get knocked out in Round 1 because it's too weak to beat real competition, the fault is on you (or on the supporters who didn't speak up to address that), not on the dumb uncultured joke-voting fad-following B8 voters. If The Landing loses to The Moon Dwelling Demon (which spoilers, is almost certainly way stronger than the Space Jam Remix) I have only myself and the FF8 supporters who roped me into adding it to blame for seeing one of my favorite soundtracks sent to the losers bracket. Not the voters, not the seeding, not the other nominators, nobody else.
