There's got to be some kind of quality control on this thing though.
All nominations now require at least 5 different people to nominate something. So, if LMS makes a bad nomination and Ulti nominates it as well, there are still at least 3 people that need to nominate it. That does not even factor in denominations - if someone then denominates it, then 4 other people would need to nominate it in order to queue it. Now, this is still going into effect, as I did not track nominations until fairly recently, but now quality control stuff is going through.

I'm honestly not sure if I'll actually enforce this, though. Mainly because with the new rules, all that would happen is that crappy LMS nominations will just fill the 1-2 nomination levels, making it relatively harmless. Good ones will be nominated by others, I'm sure. With the computer program and database I made, not all of the nominations are even shown when I post them.
I also find it a little weird that rule changes have to be done through AoD topics and not just through consensus.
What TRE said. It's kind of tradition that I have picked up from Chronic. I'm thinking of pushing them to the front of the queue if they are placed at 5 nominations. I mean, you could think of it almost like Robert's Rules of Order, except instead of needing only a second, we need a third, fourth, and fifth, and then vote to see who is in favor and opposed!
