"Ada" makes sense, but doesn't play off of "Anagram" at all. Adelle doesn't work at anything.

Three Jynx and a Baby!
"Work, work, work, that's all I ever do, and then when I take a break, I work some more to catch up!"
Score: 3/10

The heroes find a Smoochum, but before May can add it to her collection because it's so cute (by the way, did you know May is a girl? And girls like cute things? I thought you should know, the show has been a little too subtle about these points), it apparently flies off using psychic and an icy wind freezes them.

The psychic and the icy wind are the doing of three Jynx, who want to protect Smoochum, and because they dared to oppose Ash, he decides to attack them. He's never really had a problem with pokemon that wanted to stay away from humans before (except when he has), but now he does, and-- oh Pikachu gets its ass kicked. Haha.

Brock convinces Ash that the Jynx aren’t worth fighting, so the heroes leave. Unfortunately, Smoochum wanders off again and stumbles onto Team Rocket. Jessie takes it without capturing it (why?), and they fly away in their balloon, the Jynx seeing it happen but not being able to stop them.

The Jynx make the only logical decision: go into the nearest human town and use ice beam to freeze all of the roads. Because that will definitely lead them to Smoochum, am I right? They stumble onto the heroes, and tell them using telepathy that Team Rocket has their Smoochum. This is where it gets weird: even though Ash agrees to help them, they insist on being allowed to continue causing mayhem throughout the city and refuse to accept his help, so why use telepathy at all? Also: Jessie has does nothing except capture a wild pokemon, which is established to be completely legal.

Swellow quickly finds Team Rocket and alerts Ash, but Ash has no way to tell the Jynx that he knows where Team Rocket is, even though it's been established that all pokemon can communicate with each other regardless of species and also that these Jynx can communicate with humans. Thus, he has Pikachu shock the Jynx to anger them into following him in a crazy rage.

Ash leads them to Team Rocket, and the Jynx tell them (through Meowth) to return Smoochum, so Team Rocket... runs away. Team Rocket leads everyone on a chase that ends at a huge tower. Ash tries to climb up a ladder on the side, but Jessie drops Smoochum. Ash dives after it instead of telling Swellow to grab it, and it looks like this is the end, but the Jynx just use psychic to pick Ash and Smoochum up out of the air and guide them safely to the ground. Why didn't they just use psychic at any point earlier to pick up Jessie? Because then the episode would have ended at nine minutes in.

Team Rocket tries one last time to steal Smoochum using its balloon, so Ash finally remembers that he has a Swellow and frees it in roughly two seconds. I wish, just once, just once, Team Rocket would do something bad and Ash solved it four minutes in using any of his competent pokemon, and then the remaining sixteen minutes were spent commenting on how much more quickly than usual things wrapped up.

Team Rocket gives up and runs away, but Ash vindictively orders the Jynx to shoot down the balloon with ice beam because why not? It’s not like the Jynx were the troublemakers and Jessie was just capturing a wild pokemon, one that didn’t resist her at all and in fact seemed kind of okay with belonging to her. Also: why didn’t the Jynx just shoot down the balloon when Jessie first captured Smoochum using ice beam?

The heroes leave the Jynx and Smoochum, and Smoochum evolves. Everyone thinks this is a great thing even though Jynx is kind of hideous, let’s just be honest.
