The Aeriis thing was a mistake made while people were just really riled up and not thinking logically trying to figure out who it was because of Gamer getting doxxed and a couple pieces of loose evidence vaguely rasised suspicion and a couple leaders went with it. They've since apologized both publicly and pivately and everybody seems okay and over it now. There was a dude there being in appropriate with the women in the discord, sending unsolicited shit and he even and they kicked his ass as soon as they found out. I also would have severed because of Ray, if not for the arrival of the Funhaus master race. I love the Funhaus guys but I'm having more and more trouble watching their content because their editors suck. I'd rather them do the longer format AH style videos. I always liked their live streams more than the edited version usually. They announced RWBY as their next big project and fans ate it up, similar to the Blizzard-fan/Bethesda-fan phenomena. Their big thing about creating 'the first American Anime' also certainly helped to at least create buzz and interest. Their fans being western and watching Halo machinima and podcasts/let's plays are far less likely to be super familiar with anime as a medium and thus don't realize how mediocre RWBY is in comparison to many other works. My evidence: I have never met a RWBY fan that was not also heavily invested in the RoosterTeeth brand as a whole. I've seen a lot of people who like it just because they're into everything by RT and invested in it but also a lot of people that have no interest in anything else they do or have largely grown away from their other content but only come back for RWBY. --- The above post is literally and objectively right.
