But I still think it's ok for her to do... it's her kid. If it was your kid, then I'd say you have a right to not like it. But I don't really see why so many people who aren't the kid's parent are getting so up in arms about it. And about something that hasn't even happened yet... And this isn't abuse, so it really shouldn't matter to other parents what she does... Nothing she did is illegal, so people really shouldn't care. If she does something she shouldn't do, then people can be mad. Until then, nothing anyone else says really matters...

My sister never breastfed for a extra couple of years and she certainly wouldn't be giving my five year old nephew a cup with breast milk in it because it isn't a normal thing todo with a kid who is five. People bother with what others do with their kids because some "parents" abuse their kids and whatever. You can't simply do whatever you want to a kid because it's your kid. She also made this pubic knowledge by putting it on social media so obviously will get comments.

As for when they stop breastfeeding, 6 months is for some places like the US and the UK. But apparently, worldwide, most stop at the age of 4, though... Lots of people wean between the ages of 2 and 4...

So again breastfeeding a six year old is not normal. I'd even question breastfeeding a kid past the age of two although I know sometimes kids can be late adaptors.

I'd say 2(Fiji) based on the list.

Would they know? Yeah as they will see a six year old drinking milk from a bottle and probably would ask what kind or milk it is or whatever. Hell this woman would probably proudly tell the parents of the kids she STILL breastfeeds her six year old. Would the kids care? They probably would yeah or at least some of them just to bully someone. It's weird you're been a advocate for this as it's certainly not a normal thing todo. Most people stop breastfeeding their kid at around six months not six years.

The problem is she wants to breastfeed a six year old. No matter what way you look at it that's not a good idea and rather selfish. A six year old would for sure be on solids and is quite capable of drinking many things. The kid will get bullied at school if she continues with this idea. She just doesn't want to accept that her kid will eventually grow up it seems.

Displeased with the responses, who said "Extended breast feeding is not sexual assault, there's nothing sexual about child eating. Just because you sexualize breasts doesn't mean a child does. I mean if you make your choices public you're going to get people who disagree with those choices. Personally I'd say 6 year old is way to old to be breastfed. 6 year olds can eat without that in most cases and should be on solid foods. Also how would she plan on doing this when her kids at nursery? The rest of the kids will be eating their lunch while she just whips her tit out? Doesn't seem logical or fair on the kid. She's cute but seems like she doesn't want to accept babys grow older.

Absolutely not. These feelings are not limited to just those in work. Many things stress people out or can make them feel burnt out.
