Yeah Copied Factory is one people have gotten their act together on for the most part, aside from Alliance B wiping on Hobbes on a somewhat consistent basis. Its not easy by any means but its way less obnoxious than Orbonne.

It is kind of funny because Gyr Abania has the overall better plot of the two, but the characters not named Raubahn are so mediocre compared to the star squad of Gosetsu, Yugiri, Hien, Magnai, Sadu, Soroban, even Hancock...

The trouble with Primals is we would need to ban Tempering, which gimps them fairly hard.

You can rush through the game, but I suggest pacing yourself once you get to Heavensward. The story jumps in quality, so sit back and enjoy it.

I am definitely going to try to push the CtC version of Reach for the Moon this year. I think the percussion might make all the difference.

Metal (Brute Justice) is definitely a surprise given the series it comes from, but its a wonderful love letter to old-school mecha anime and I hope it makes it past a couple of rounds.

I had a feeling you wouldnt like Oblivion, but Im one of the philistines who likes Philistine, so I figured I would give it a shot.

Just finished normal mode of the Stormblood (Omega) raids. The second-to-last fight is fantastic.

Amazing how people can't infer that "Larboard" is the opposite of "Starboard."

The new Arkham Horror breaks its own action economy against the players and relies too much on creating scenarios reminiscent of Betrayal at House on the Hill, which dont work in this style of game. Plus, you are guaranteed for the worst options to happen on a regular basis. The increased consistency actually makes the game worse instead than of better since it makes every flub roll more backbreaking.

New Alphinaud is good, but he isnt Sam Riegel good.

I have never had a good experience with Pandemic, and this is coming from a guy whose favorite board game is Arkham Horror (not the new one, new one is atrocious). It feels so swingy based on luck that it pushes people to quarterback, since the players have so little thats actually under their control.

Sam and the ones who voiced Raubahn, Merlwyb, and Lolorito were great and will be missed.

However, Kann-E-Senna will suck exponentially less, and almost everyone else improves marginally. You get used to it.

I finally completed the Shadowbringers 5.0 MSQ.

All I can say is, That was a goddamn masterpiece. Im comfortable putting it with the best not just Final Fantasy, but the RPG genre has to offer.

I have waited for a worthy Final Fantasy game for so long. Since X. Since I was in elementary school. And when I played Heavensward, I thought, Yeah, this might hold a candle. But last night... I felt the magic again.

Popping in again to say I love Seven Wonders. I think a lot of it is because I adore drafting games in general, and of the non-TCG types, 7W has had my best experiences.

My friend owns DiceForge as well, and I am excited to play it at least once when given the opportunity. Then again, thats only been three times so far, so the novelty might not be an infinite wellspring.

Leah is definitely my SV waifu of choice, but I've only played the game one time and never not been married to her. I zeroed in on her almost immediately. That thirsty stuff when you aren't married (and yeah, I think your interpretation is accurate) is pretty "yikes."

Its almost too bad there are a lot of sporadic parts that are plot-crucial to build up to the ending. Otherwise I would recommend just powering through some parts.
