I'm not even that big of a star wars fan. i enjoyed the movies immensely and all, but wouldn't say I'm a die hard fan like how I know some people are. I wouldn't go out of my way to pre-buy tickets and watch it asap. yet when I finally saw the last jedi I knew something felt extremely off about the film.

we all know it's nothing but a cheap money grab but the movies at least couldn't have tried to make it not feel so blatantly obvious.
