a couple reasons come to mind

Obama ran on change you can believe in, capitalizing on americans desire for a break from the corrupt politics that have been dominating for generations, but really he just ended up upholding the status quo.

Trump sort of copied obamas successful campaign and simultaneously tweaked it to appeal to the racists that hated obama for being black.

-Bowser is supposed to be the "power house" of the party and joins with fantastic stats and high attack, but his stat growth is terrible! So by the end of the game, all his stats are some of the lowest out of everyone and his attack stat is outclassed by the f***ing mage of the party. Plus all his equipment is awful too. His best weapon only gives him +40 while everyone else's gives +70-90.

I actually thought this was clever design because Bowser always starts out bad ass in the mario games, but by the time you fight him as the final boss he is weak

the open world was poor and the repeated mission designs really dragged and the story was almost nonexistent, but the gameplay was enough to carry the whole game, it was that good.

If the entire game had the narrative structure and pacing of the ground zeroes it could have been the best game in the series
