There literally hasn't been any news at all in 5 years, but somehow I get a new article every day going into what news there is. "News" being something like, a reference to a tweet made by a fan discussing the potential for an undisclosed release date that doesn't exist allegedly. That is an entire article.

I mean it's just taken as a given that good guys are good guys and bad guys are bad guys, and they're always honest. If they change sides they do it honestly and on camera and dictate their literal thoughts on it.

Like he was a writer for the simpsons in the golden age. He was one of the greatest late night hosts of all time. He's the funniest person on any podcast or any interview. He is the perfect straight-man to people like Bill Burr. His travel mockumentary is brilliant. His Hot Ones interview was easily the best. You get the sense that conan could be in the middle of the desert with no script and he'd somehow make that the funniest irreverent thing ever. He does all this and yet it never feels like he's punching down or dunking on anyone except himself. Their music is incredibly artistic, almost to the point where you have to be paying complete attention to them to even remotely understand them. I remember listening to a song on Lateralus (though I can't remember what it was), where I thought a song was absolute bollocks during the listen. Then, I closed my eyes for a second, and all of a sudden the song had an entirely new meaning. It was insane the way Tool could just become something so different when you take a look into the music.
Another thing you should note about Tool is that it's easy to get a headache listening to them. Not because they're a bad band, but because of how many ideas their music is riddled with and how complex they are. Soon enough your head will fill to the brim and the rest will just sound like noise to you. Just turn it off and give it a listen the next day.
