Morning and daytime TV is garbage, especially on the main broadcast/network TV channels(ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, CW, etc). The main demographic seems to be bored housewives. There's more variety on actual cable channels.

There are quite a few shows with 4 to 5 women at a table talking about different topics.

Also, i didnt know local news cycles the same stories for 3 hours.

Maybe you see it different when you get to that age, but I would hate being reminded of deaths cold grasp every 7 minutes.

Funeral expenses, last wishes fullfilment, kids with cancer, etc. I understand these are all parts of life, but during every commercial break?

Nothing at all. I've never really cared about my birthday as I hate being the center of attention. I like doing things for other people though.

I threw up after getting food poisoning last year and it actually felt great after. Shooting pain in my stomach was a waaaay worse feeling.

Most uncured meat lasts about 2-3 days in the fridge. In my experience chicken and pork last about 2-3 days refrigerated, while beef lasts around 3-4.

I'm not a fan of food poisoning so I try to keep it at no more than 2 days.

I thought you weren't supposed to drink if you're breastfeeding.

As shitty as it is I don't think this is or should be a crime.

Full and conflicted. I just ate half of a pizza on my lunch break. I'm conflicted abut keeping the rest, as I am unsure about how wise it would be to eat it after sitting in my car for two more hours on a warm day. I could finish it but then I would be over full and uncomfortable. I should probably just toss it. It was cheap but I hate throwing away tasty food.

Crank the a/c to high until your about the leave the car. Boom, instant fridge.

Closing in on one week and the initial anxiety has started to go away. Getting fired sucked, but I now realize it's not quite the end of the world.

Was the argument over anything worthwhile/substantial?

Our department was understaffed and they still had the expectation that output would remain the same.And they would get on me about it constantly as if I or my crew was slacking off. As someone who always works hard, it's frustrating to be told you're not doing enough and it just came to a head that day.

I never realized how much of my self I had wrapped up in my work. Even though I would have been off these last few days anyway, there's a weird emptiness knowing I won't be at work today.

I always thought I wouldn't care if I got fired. I actually didn't eat more than a few bites for the first few days. On a positive note, I saved up, so I won't be homeless anytime soon.
