You're thinking of Todd Rogers, who was obviously a fraud. People have known he was lying for decades, there just wasn't strong proof until recently. Several people have smashed Mitchell's record since King of Kong.

Honestly the removal of scatter seems like a nerf to me. It's one of the most powerful, if not THE most power one hit kill skills in the game if used properly.

Been ignoring Overwatch for a couple days cus FFXIV had a big update. The new raid tier is based on Final Fantasy VI. Bosses include Phantom Train, Chadarnook, Guardian and Kefka. It's awesome.

Decided I wanted to play the entire series, since I've only really played 7, Sacred Stones, Path of Radiance, Awakening and only like half of Birthright(spoilers it sucks). Though I also have Conquest(barely played it), Radiant Dawn(barely played it) and recently got Echoes, so I'll save that one for later.

I know half of 3 is remake of 1(minus like 5 chapters or something, but whatever who cares), and the other half a sequel. And since the NES version of 1 is a bit too archaic for my tastes, so I decided to skip it and play 3.

I'm at Chapter 8 Rescuing Maria from prison, and I assume I'll also be recruiting Minerva here. So far it's pretty easy(but I'm still in the early game so that's to be expected). Only lost one guy so far, a mercenary from the previous chapter, but I sacrificed him because it was either that or lose one of my Cavaliers. Not like I was going to use him anyway when I have Navarre and Oguma. I was surprised there's no weapon triangle. Also Merric is ridiculously op. Been using him to one shot bosses. Not sure if I'm supposed to do that, but fuck it, I'm one shotting bosses.

I hear in these early games I want to promote as soon as possible, since promotion just raises your stats to the base stats of the promoted class. Don't have anyone ready to promote yet, or have the items to promote, but I'll burn that bridge when I come to it.

Oh, I don't think I'll play Revelations. I hear it's not really worth it, and from what I played of Fates I don't really like it.

I've lost on the final day on map 2 like 4 times now. there always seems to be a place where I get overrun despite putting thanatoses, snipers and executors freaking everywhere. There's always 1 corner somewhere where somehow that's not enough, and I get overrun and destroyed.
