Yep, it's very easy to ignore the threads that don't interest you. I even found a script someone made that lets you just click on an X next to the thread titles to instantly ignore them without those annoying pop-ups.

And I gotta say it's refreshing to actually read a thread about a game or TV show and not have it constantly derailed by bickering trolls. I mean it's still not perfect, but it's a hell of a lot better than trying to discuss anything on the game or TV boards here. The TV boards here used to be great too, but they've really gone to shit in recent years...

I couldn't tell you a single thing about any of these guys. My schools kinda sucked in regards to US history. Like I learned plenty about the revolutionary war, a little bit about the industrial revolution and civil war, and then some stuff about the civil rights movements, but that's about it.

From what we saw in that 10 minute video clip earlier, it looks like you get more confetti from battles than from smacking the environment with a hammer, so if you come to a spot where you need a lot of confetti to fill in and the choices are do two quick battles that are close by or travel a longer distance to be able to smack enough flowers, I may still choose to do at least one battle.

The son had one but she didn't. It was windy that day and the lake has a bit of a current, so one theory is the boat may have drifted while they were swimming, and she expended the last of her energy getting her son back in.

Wait does the netting actually act as a barrier that the sea creatures can't swim past? In New Leaf they could just flee beyond where you could swim and then they'd just be gone. I just assumed it would be the same in NH, so the one time I found a gigas clam I tried my hardest to steer it away from the borders, lol.

It doesn't mention that in the patch notes. It did fix the weird glitch where bridges became unusable and the glitch where villagers had random thought bubbles after talking to them. Plus something about wetsuits not appearing in the shop and something about hermit crabs appearing where they shouldn't.

I could've potentially come around on the battle system, but the fact that your turns are up against a timer does not sit well with me at all.

You can use the coins you get (which you seemingly will always have an abundance of) to increase the timer.
