Those reviews are moronic. People didn't hate TLJ because it wasn't what they expected. It's because it was a bas movie. After all the so called subversion, we're still left with a ragtag group of rebels fighting an empire, rey is light side, kylo is dark side, Luke isn't in the picture, and significant characters like Finn get 0 development.
