if they were actively doing things to try to harm the lgbt community then I wouldnt eat there. The fact is though that wealthy people donate money towards special interest groups, and the vast majority of that is undisclosed to the public.

The pro-life position is that human life has inherent value. Each individual human life starts at conception. Killing innocent human beings at every stage of their development is wrong and should be illegal. Abortion should be restricted unless it meets certain criteria. Mainstream pro-life legislation usually includes permitting abortion in the case of rape or incest in their criteria. This is under debate in the community with some not feeling those are appropriate conditions. The generally accepted rule is "abortion should be permitted only if the mother's life is in danger" with much discussion being around as to whether this includes just biological problems (ectopic pregnancies) or only if mental health is included.

The "baby" is just a cluster of cells for a while, and have no independent thought. If you think every life has inherent value, what about comatose patients? They're 100% more humans than the cluster of cells you're trying to save, but because they're incapable of thought or movement, no one bats an eye for them. Also, the rape kits are wildly inaccurate, so even if rape/incest only abortions are allowed, most of the people needing rape abortions wouldn't be allowed to have them.

Also, it doesn't really matter what your personal opinion is. You're valuing your own personal opinion over the fact of not oppressing women. That in itself makes you sexist.

Did a last minute grind at the Battle Chateau before I hit the gym! Pretty straight-forward. I saved Dugtrio and Klinklang for the leader. I was pretty decently leveled to survive it. As it turns out, Dugtrio cannot take a single hit to save its life. What the fuck this dude just crumples at any attack. lol Totally worthless in this fight, but he was able to coax all the Hyper Potions on the first enemy. It was all up to Klinklang after that. He had Discharge and Gear Grind to tear apart the cat thing and then Slowking. Just bodied. Had to use some heals, but Klinklang carried.

Also my rival wants to fight immediately after the gym wtf gtfo. But oh wait, the Team Flare leader says he's going to use the device to MURDER EVERYONE NOT IN HIS CREW. Seriously, this is the dumbest team ever. They are the shits.

Anyway, I go to the little cafe and I beat up some people pretending to be wait staff and then enter the lab. And then I fight Lysandore! He wasn't too bad. But I was like, one move away from dying on 4 different Pokemon if it weren't for my superior speed. I healed up and then started the labs... but it's too late and I'm a tired boy.

Too tired for level updates. But everyone is 50+!

If you think that team is bad, wait til you play Sword or Shield. Team Yell is literally just simping fanboys, screwing people over just so their girl looks better.

BTW, are you playing on shift or the other thing? I know Nuzlockes usually use the other thing, but I'm curious.

Pro-lifers put a lot of thought into their position. Abortion is a very complicated issue and it requires tons of unpacking. When does life begin? What is a parent's duty to their child? When is it ethical to kill other people? All questions that must be answered. Especially in the online space, pro-lifers are constantly challenged and must stay abreast of any pro-choice arguments.

Let's be real, there were major QOL improvements, lots of good roster additions and solid single player content. And, not that Nintendo gets the credit for it, one of the best modding scenes ever.

I checked out EVO for a couple hours one year, and maybe the venue was big enough to allow for better ventilation, but I didn't detect any BO from the Melee section or anywhere else. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if it was much worse in smaller venues, and I generally agree that the "poor hygiene" stereotype is pretty damn embarrassing and should be worked on.

The one time I detected terrible BO at an event was during a small wrestling show (ROH), and it was putrid enough that I both wanted to leave and felt embarrassed with my own presence there.

I used to be friends with someone who tried to make it big in the Melee community(he did make a decent splash), and followed him to a decent amount of small tourneys. I never ran into any BO while at those tourneys. That was like 10 years ago though, so maybe the fan base is a lot worse with their hygiene now.

Melee had like one or two people exposed in the recent rape/abuse thing that happened, and rightfully so, but to act like it was a Melee problem is just being ignorant.

It was a Smash problem as a whole, and the vast, vast majority of exposed abusers came from Ultimate, not Melee, so that part is wrong, too!

You probably won't be lost but I highly highly recommend playing the Sky trilogy (at least FC and SC) first. One they're better games and two I do think you'll enjoy 4 more. Instead of the exposition dumps being helpful reminders/callbacks it might be confusing backstory.

Can you give me full names of the Sky trilogy games? I have no idea what to even look for.

I hate Devos, but college should not be completely government funded because just about everything government funded sucks complete ass. Plus, college is a complete and utter waste for tons of people in the first place.

Student loan debt should not be forgiven either. Maybe some for people who actually worked hard in school and got a real degree, but taxpayers should never have to pay for someone to spend 8 years partying and getting a useless sociology degree.

Just expand shit like HOPE and PELL. Only give help or forgive debts to people who need it and earn it.

Yakuza 7 is its own thing, and you really don't need to play the others. There are some character nods here and there, but you're not missing much from just playing Yakuza 7.

Doesnt Christianity technically only use the New Testament? I mean I remember all the parables and lessons and shit they used to teach us in church, but I thought that in practice the new stuff was what counted.

I've been a part of many different churches in ny life, and was a very devout Christian. I never heard of anything about only going by the new testament. Only thing about the old testament not mattering is the animal sacrifice, because Jesus's death nullified the original sin, and just repenting is enough because of it.

God killed the baby of King David and Bathsheba because the baby was born out of sin, adultery. So God himself set a precedent that babies born out of sin don't deserve to live.
