I played the original with an English patch. There's no part of "oppai roguelike" that doesn't appeal to me.

Suddenly found myself in the mood for classic FMA this morning, and after the Lab Five arc I found myself on that episode, today of all days. My dad died when I was pretty young so I don't think about him much now, but I was still upset at the time. My feelings on him are pretty complicated for that and other reasons, so I don't really know what to think of him.

I saw maybe a dozen masks among the entire crowd in the building (excluding reporters), and maybe ten people total among the protesters outside not wearing masks. The straight up hypocrisy is mind boggling.

A moment ago in his tirade against protesters (denouncing them as violent thugs as per usual), he said they don't wear masks, to rabid applause. The vast majority of those I've seen have been wearing them, in stark contrast to the very congregation currently in progress.

You don't answer one innocent person being wronged by wronging other innocent people in a different group. In the same way you obviously shouldn't harass someone for being black, you shouldn't harass someone for being a cop. You should of course hold cops that have actually done shit wrong extremely accountable for what they've done, more so than a normal citizen, but you immediately throw away the moral high ground when you start applying that logic to cops that haven't done anything wrong and for all you know might be fighting the corrupt parts of the system from the inside.

The irony that so many people here seem unable to grasp is that saying all protesters are violent rioters hate cops is the exact same logic as those very cop-hating rioters.

We have documented cases of both police brutality/corruption and people getting violent and causing chaos at protests. But while any rational person knows that not all cops are bad, that logic comes to a stop when it comes to this movement. It's dismissed as violent, racist, cop-hating, irresponsible due to current events, you name it. They judge the all for the actions of the few.

I've stood and marched in the protests, and got lightly gassed. I'm against the current state of the police system, and I'll one up that by saying I have zero trust in my local police due the mess they've made every single time I've been involved with them. (This includes them literally letting a guy drive away scot free after running their truck over protesters mere feet from me.) That does NOT mean, however, that I hate all cops. Nor do 90 percent of those protesting. I don't want to catch some lecture about what I'm doing wrong by someone holding me responsible for the actions of some violent assholes. Kind of like how every good cop out there doesn't like being judged for the actions of their asshole peers.

This thread keeps popping up when I'm actually playing the game. Third time now.

Currently got a killer endless custom run going. I made regular enemies drop relics instead of cards, so now I have, like, all the relics. Small deck with Wraith Form, Echo Form, Nightmare, Omega, and Wish. Wraith keeps me invincible forever when I multiply it, and with multiple Wish I can make tons of money in every battle.
