That's some creative reinterpretation, but the actual protesters have been pretty clear what they mean: They want the current cops gone.

A) nothing in that first link supports that, and 2) Seattle doesn't speak for everyone. Seattle doesn't even speak for all of Seattle's protesters, as clearly shown in the second link. Core organizer and secondhand victim explicitly didn't want police gone.

Sure, not all protestors are that crazy -- some acknowledge wanting to keep law enforcement -- but many of them absolutely fucking are. And the crazies seem to outnumber the "what we really mean" crowd by a large degree.

People with extreme opinions exist along all political spectrums. You're gonna have to show some much harder numbers than this if you're gonna make such a sweeping and condemning claim.

More mature, better humor, better animation.

Better quality animation for sure, since it came several years later. The actual art styles are a matter of preference. I think the original is more or equally mature, and does comedy better (Brotherhood does sudden art style shifts for funny scenes that can take you out of the moment). The original anime focused more on the human drama than the overall plot and Brotherhood kind of flipped it around.

The homunculi in general I feel were better done in the first anime, especially their origin. And while the first show's plot got a little weird at the end, Brotherhood just goes straight up shounen and gets a bit safe with the ending.

This. The country was built on philosophy, but too often those philosophies take a back seat to personal entitlement and the almighty dollar.

And that's to say nothing of the mountain of problems that the country was also built on. Point to any time in its history and you'll find at least one group of people who were systemically horribly treated. Whenever someone mentions the country being great at some point, a good follow up question is, "for who?"

I recently started reading Lies of Sheriff Evans. There's some action, but it's mainly a comedy. The main character is a sheriff, respected, skilled and revered. But he's also completely inexperienced with women, and became a sheriff purely because he thought it would make him popular with women. Through circumstances or his own poor judgment, he always seems to strike out with any lady he comes across.

If you want something lighter, Daily Lives of High School Boys is one of the funniest anime I've seen. Bartender is a nice, relaxing slice of life, and you learn a little about the history and culture of alcohol.

Also, I notice peoples opinions on the games tend to change drastically over time. Years ago Birth by Sleep was considered one of the best in the series, and Dream Drop Distance was also well received when it released (except for the Drop mechanic). Now they both seem to be hated.

Original is my favorite, but I'd say KH2 => KH1. 2 had more polished gameplay, but was different in a lot of ways and Reaction Commands were overused.

The worst part is that people will and do take all of his divisive bullshit to heart. They view anyone who disagrees with them as enemies of all things good and decent, and double down on their love of a fucking cheeto.

The difference between him and any half decent president is that he makes no attempt or pretense of wanting to work with or help anyone that he dislikes. He paints a permanent target on them and disown them as sub-people unworthy of acknowledgement on any civil level. He's all about chaos.

That memory card shit ain't no joke. I remember for several months after we got a PS1, we couldn't afford a memory card. Thanks to that and not having many games, a lot of time was spent on demo discs, or getting about 1/3 of the way through Mega Man Legends before having to turn it off.
