Pretend the original doesn't exist. Haven't seen it, don't know a thing about it, but I can tell you Origins of Evil is quite good.

I want to see Clown, as well. It's been on my watchlist for a while, but I've been hesitant to actually set aside time for it; no other film I've heard of so closely toes the line between completely silly/ridiculous & horrific. Out of context, the plot is almost hard to take seriously, but slow, unstoppable transformations (e.g. The Fly) freak me out, so I have no idea how I'll react to it.

Jazzpunk is hilarious. Undertale's very funny as well. As far as a series? Yeah maybe Portal? I dunno, not many come to mind. GTA 3-5 are funny but that's a credit to how the open world and gameplay allows for humor, not so much the writing (though 5 actually had good story). Oh and Stanley's Parable has great narration but it's at least as bizarre as it is funny.

Today, at the day camp where I work, this 7 year-old girl was singing something to herself. I walked closer and realized she was singing Nonstop, doing Hamilton and Burr back and forth. No longer have the Game Boy or NES, and the N64 doesn't work. Everything else I use regularly, except the DS. Fortunately I live with someone who has a working N64 with a kickass library. My sister at one point owned a Game Boy Color, a PS1, PS2 and a Wii, all of which I used when we lived together. The PS2 especially, for DDR & Guitar Hero.

It Comes at Night makes lethally effective use of its bare-bones trappings while proving once again that what's left unseen can be just as horrifying as anything on the screen.
