Lady calls up and wonders when the driver will be there with her medicine. I tell her we didn't receive the prescription from the doctor until well after our drivers leave on their afternoon runs. She goes "But I was promised early in the morning that it would be delivered after it was called in. I take my medicine in the morning". I told her we open at 9 and our drivers can take it on the morning run tomorrow. She tells me she gets up at 5 and that she was told we were supposed to be a good, helpful pharmacy. "This isn't gonna work when you don't keep promises."

Well, good luck finding a pharmacy that is open at 5-6 in the morning that delivers on-demand.

Thankfully, I only work part-time at our retail location and it's far less stressful than my old job, so this was more amusing than frustrating.

On the other hand, I really struggle to enjoy stuff like Flyleaf because of things that the singer has said and how that affects the interpretation of the music. She's an ex-gay evangelical Christian and the song "I'm So Sick" can pretty easily be interpreted to be about the "sickness" of being gay. That makes it difficult for me, as someone who's not straight, to enjoy.

I don't think i've ever had to deal with that kind of thing when it used to be pizza delivery and Chinese food delivery. This feels like something new in thanks to apps that have their own drivers. I hear things about drivers that take food and throw it away because of bad tip or some shit.

Yeah there is an option to add on another tip, plus they have some priority service (not included in DashPass) you can pay for now where you get your food quicker. It's dumb.

I tipped like 15% for a 2 mile trip and it apparently was insulting to the guy.
