That's the thing, the situation in the middle east is what happens when conservatives take over. The US knows how effective religious zealots are (they will literally give up their life for their cause) and so the US has spent and continues to spend a lot of money and provide a lot of support to such groups (you know, "to protect our interests"). Conservatism has common themes around the world. Conservatives will claim that they're for personal freedoms and individualism, but they mean their personal freedom to enforce their individual beliefs on everyone else.

Look how quickly religous conservatism took over and how it feels almost impossible to fix.

People actually using development footage to form an opinion on the visuals, story, gameplay or whatever else are bonkers. None of this footage is supposed to be public.

This is also why developers never show work in progress stuff.

Every game would be a controversy if this kind of early footage was intentionally shown.

If it looks bad: "What the fuck are these graphics? Why is the gameplay so stiff? No one should buy this shit!"

If it has features that inevitably get cut or modified: "False advertising!"

That's all part of the agenda. They want to take power away from informed medical professionals and force gender transition into a back alley potentially illegal procedure.

They want to ban abortion and go after LGBTQ people. I'd rather die than try to cooperate with them. The only compromise they will accept is full subservience to their every whim and maybe they'll leave you alone.

This is tragic.

It is also a statistical outlier and we'd only have more tragedies by shooting every thief and robber. If it's your own small store, I can why you'd want to fight, but that's about it.

Basically they wanted to dump people off in Florida (which is not a sanctuary state btw) without permission and shame him into being ok with this. So now they want to publicly shame him some more since it didnt work as he just deported all involved to an actual sanctuary state. Shock and awe.

At the end of the day, they just wanted to virtue signal but actually let it be someone elses problem. They live so far away from the border they never dreamed any migrants could ever end up there. There is no difference other than he was straight up about it he actually doesnt care to accept people if they actually follow the proper legal immigration steps as Florida actually accepts immigrants every day (if they follow the law).

Also alls well that ends well because they ended up on a military base which is a better outcome than a hot camp in Florida or a sketchy situation in the north with sanctuary cities who neither prepared for nor seem to want them.
