Been watching through season 1 of magus bride. It feels very shoujo but it's still been entertaining. It's kind of cool to see a show that has a semi historically accurate view on faeries rather than just saying faeries = pixies. Technically even yokai and cryptids are faeries as well as stuff like elves and dwarves.

Been rewatching isekai shows trying to find one that has the mc on a demon continent I think. He meets a female orc and she's the pig like kind iirc. I believe it's on the lighter/comedic side.

I watch my anime in a way that would make Luffy proud.

Finished the second season of By the Grace of the Gods yesterday. I do like the show, but it feels like the mc is just going along with what everyone else wants and it's bothersome. I hope if there's another season it starts taking a bit of a new direction.

Also, rewatched Koe no Katachi and it's still my favorite anime movie. Kawai is still the worst.

Been watching Hyouken no Majutsushi ga Sekai wo Suberu. I gotta take a break after each ep. Everything feels hollow. Have like 3 eps left, definitely a miss for me.

Also, I watched the ecchi show where the dude gets turned into a dog, since I figured it could be funny/amusing, but it ended up deserving its poor mal rating. A lot of the time I feel like mal is a bit harsh on ecchi stuff, but this one was a wasted concept. Could've been fun, but instead it was really dumb. Glad they were only 12 min eps.

That was about how I felt. I thought some of the choices early on were quite reasonable, basically before she ends up at the nobles house. After that, I fairly quickly lost interest.

It wasn't the worst thing I've ever seen, but I was glad when it was over tbh.

Watching the second season of Bofuri after having rewatched s1. Maple's weirdness is amusing still. I am kind of hoping they'll add a new guildmate, but I'm not gonna hold my breath though. I dream of games having this level of freedom.

Watching "Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement" and I was hopeful at the start, but it feels like the writer's lack of intelligence/imagination is severely holding it back. I'm ok with an imperfect mc and one that makes mistakes, but a lot of the choices made are baffling.

They do the minimum and charge a premium from the little I've seen.

I have been using Google Lens for this for a while and it's a bit hit or miss. ChatGPT does some basic translation that's not terrible (about as good as deepl). Google Lens is a bit more advanced because of the image recognition and using google translate.

The technology has already come a long way, it'll be nice to see it further evolve and no longer have to be put off when I see that something has been machine translated.

Looks like a scanlation group started scanlating Bokutachi no Remake again. Hopefully get the rest of the chapters.

This one aspect I'm eager for ai to take over. Being able to play, read, and watch anything and understand what's going on would be amazing.

Watching Buddy Daddies. These kinds of shows don't pop up too often, but I do generally find them enjoyable. Usagi Drop is my favorite of the bunch.

Farming isekai went by way too quick. I'm hopeful that when the isekai explosion lets up, that at least some will still trickle in.

Finished up Tomo chan is a girl. Tomo was super adorable and the whole cast was likeable. Probably one of the reasons I prefer romcom to romdram. I knew it wasn't going to happen, but I was kind of hoping the ending would leave us with Tomo dropping an "I'm pregnant" bomb at the end.

Next up is fired dark knight.

Watched the onmyouji isekai show. Wasn't expecting much, but it grew on me and ended up solid. Kind of hoping they'll make more of it. I like the little twist of Seika seemingly being the maou.

Watching Tomo is a girl next to take a break from the fantasy stuff.

I do enjoy its lower stakes. It's probably the closest to an isekai show I've been wanting, which is a low stakes Kino's Journey with a fairly lighthearted demeanor.

As much as I like isekai, it's not very often that I find one that I really liked. However, Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi was really nice for me. Can't quite put my finger on what I liked so much about it, but I really did find it enjoyable.

Also recently watched Benriya isekai, which I did like overall, but not nearly as much as Tondemo.

Tipping is in the U.S. is awful.

Started watching Ice guy and cool female colleague. It's kind of sappy, but still enjoyable.

Offset feels so much better imo. Xbox and Nintendo have it right.

Hershey's symphony line actually tastes like chocolate, so those.

Nice. While it does suck to have to wait and have gaps in between seasons, I do prefer this to having a show constantly running and plagued with filler arcs.

Woohoo, some more anime has ended and now I've got stuff to watch. More Danmachi, Iruma, and the second season of Fumetsu.

Finished Isekai Ojisan. Hopefully they make more of it. Ojisan's obliviousness is great every time, even though you can see it coming.

NASA has several robots on Mars, they already won.

Watched the first 10 eps of Isekai Ojisan so far. It's a nice take on the genre.

Still plugging away at Xeno 3 as well. The checkpoint seemingly every 200 meters is getting me annoyed a bit. Can't wait for the game to open up some more.

Not really sure what to watch lately, so I rewatched Your Lie in April, and Mushoku Tensei. Also watched the second season of Promised Neverland and can see why it's rated poorly on mal. No idea why they decided to speedrun the rest of the story. What is there is at least decent though, but it's still a big letdown to see the route they went.

Also started on Xeno 3. Seems more like the first than the second one so far. I'm glad the affinity chart is back. I dunno why, but I really like that feature and wish more games had it. Would be really nice in something like Elder Scrolls imo.

Since I don't really have anything to watch, I'm going to rewatch Hikaru no Go next. Been quite some time since I rewatched it.

As for games, I finished the pokedex in Pokemon Scarlet, although I still want to get my own Miraidon. Managed to hatch myself a shiny Charmander, so I'm in the process of ev training that.
