I wonder if anyone has ever done cuts of the episodes with cutaways entirely removed. I'd be curious about what they would even be like. I'd imagine it would be an entirely different show.

Somewhat related question, I heard Danganronpa v3 isn't a continuation of the first two games, without spoiling anything, is that true? Also when people say the ending of 3 sucks are they referring to the game or the anime, since they're apparently completely different?

That's fair. I got UDG on PS4 for $10 around Halloween on a PSN sale.

DRV3 is a new story altogether. Apparently the team was split in terms of half of them wanting to finish the DR1/2 storyline, while the other half wanted to start a new storyline altogether. This resulted in half working on the anime and half working on V3.

Honestly, I could see comments about the ending sucking applying to either. V3's ending was really controversial, and while I've come to really like it, I was pretty mixed on it when I beat the game. The anime sort of falls entirely flat in the last few episodes with a lot of things fizzling out without proper development and a really really dumb mastermind twist. I could see people saying that either ending sucks, but I think V3's ending is one that takes some time and real thought to fully appreciate.

How much story/dialogue is there? Obviously I don't expect nearly as much as if it was a mainline game, but is there enough there to warrant not just googling a summary or something?

I think it's at least worth watching over a summary. There's a lot of really good stuff in terms of character interactions and mind-gameplay dialogue. It gives Toko a ton of development, and honestly, the Toko & Komaru dynamic is one of the best parts of the game.

For what it's worth, I was really ehh on Toko before UDG, but it made me appreciate her quite a bit.

Tutor for English, Social Studies, Psychology, and Microsoft Word.

Looking to quit though. Hours are too unreliable to be a long-term job. It was a nice "I'm not sure what I want to do" job for a while, but I'm a bit more focused now and want something a bit more stable.

I write a bit, but I'm not good at all. I generally just write short stories every few months when I have an idea that I really like, though I've done one novel (didn't even try to get it published, it was garbage) and am toying with the idea of doing a second.

I think most fans go with SD being 11, 3's remake being 12, Awakening being 13, Fates being 14, and SoV being 15.

It's up for debate, but I'm just kind of going along with the numbering system I see others use.

I love Summer Gaius. I don't love my -ATK Summer Gaius, which is a super IV and puts him at 38 attack. Nyeh. :(

But yeah, FEH is generally solid for a gacha, I think. I've put like $30 into the game since launch, and I have 84 5*s, without counting merges (+1 Effie, +2 Masked Marth, +1 Eliwood, +1 Leon, +6 Niles, +1 Peri), and others that I've burned off for fodder.

IMO, don't expect any 5*s without putting in 80-100 orbs though. I think that's one of the biggest mistakes I see my casual friends make: they put in 20-40 orbs and expect 5*s. I think you have to near the 100 mark on average to reliably get anything. It's still a gacha at the end of the day.

I got Grima Robin in 35 orbs. But -ATK.

Then I got a second Grima Robin on the first orb of the very next session. +SPD/-HP. Not great, but not -ATK. I wanted Celica, but I think I'll wait to see the upcoming legendary banner before putting any more orbs in.
